Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZA) is a popular free zone in Dubai that is home to more than 1600 companies from across the globe. Founded in 1996 as a strategic plan to make Dubai as an investment-driven economy, DAFZA is one of the fastest-growing zones and this tremendous growth is mostly attributed to import and export businesses in Dubai.

In DAFZA, there are companies from several industries, such as aviation, freight and logistics, IT and telecommunications, food and beverage, jewelry, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals. This free zone is located in the vicinity of Dubai International Airport which makes DAFZA a major vantage point. Proximity to the airport has made shipping of cargo, freight, and parcels much easier and faster.

Licensing and registration of all businesses are handled by the Dubai Airport Free Zone Authority (DAFZA). Apart from its proximity to an international airport, DAFZA also serves as a bridge between the Middle East and African Markets and also provides access to some parts of Europe and Asia. Being a free zone, DAFZA also provides tax benefits and investment incentives to global investors and businesses.

Thus, if you are also planning to start an export business in Dubai, DAFZA makes an ideal choice.
